New Billboards Highlighting Skyrocketing Summer Prices Go Up in Times Square & Heartland States

WASHINGTONThursday, July 2, 2026 – Today Home of the Brave launched a $2.5 million expansion of our Sticker Shock Summer ad campaign, which is highlighting how the Trump administration’s policies are causing prices to skyrocket for millions of Americans.

We will have over 165 new billboards across the country, bringing our total to nearly 350 units in our 16 target states: Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Our new billboards will highlight the fact that this administration’s policies are to blame for rising electricity prices. This comes just as many Americans across the country—especially those targeted in our campaign—brace for a soaring summer heat wave that will have them cranking their air conditioning units.

To expand the scope of our campaign, we are also running billboards in Times Square and Orlando, FL, where millions of Americans will travel throughout the summer. As tourists from around the country flock to these summer vacation destinations, they will see our message and be reminded of the administration’s inflationary policies.

As part of this expansion, we have also increased the scale of our digital advertising footprint. This includes two ads that are running nationwide on YouTube: a 30-second spot showing increasing (rather than falling) prices in a department store, and a 60-second spot detailing how the Trump administration's policies are directly responsible for price increases.

We first launched our Sticker Shock Summer campaign last month as a $15 million education and mobilization project. This is a major expansion on that initial launch. Earlier this week, we also launched a special Fourth of July ad campaign, featuring a new billboard and video ad about how this administration is making Fourth of July more expensive—from food, to travel, to alcohol, to fireworks.
