Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026.

Your internet privacy is important to us. As part of the operation and optimization of the Sticker Shock Summer website (stickershocksummer.org), we gather certain types of information from users. Here, we explain the types of information we gather, and what we do with it.

Our website collects two types of data from you: personal data that you submit through our tip-line contact form (first name, last name, email address, ZIP code, and the contents of any message), and aggregated data about traffic patterns on stickershocksummer.org (for example, how many users access our website on a daily basis).

Personal information you submit

When you submit a tip or message through our contact form, we collect:

Submissions are processed and stored by HubSpot, our third-party customer-relationship-management provider. We use this information to follow up on tips and respond to messages. We do not sell or share this information with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Sticker Shock Summer will not disclose your personally identifiable information except as required by court order, law, or governmental agency. You are encouraged to review HubSpot's privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

Aggregated information

Aggregated information, such as which pages you visit and what browser you use, is collected through various means. One of these is an IP address, a number automatically assigned to your computer whenever you use the Internet. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you request a page from stickershocksummer.org, our servers log your IP address. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, so although your session will be logged, it remains anonymous to us. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and understanding how visitors use the site.

Use of cookies

Like most other websites, stickershocksummer.org uses cookies, including for the analytics described below. Cookies can't read any other files on your computer, nor can they damage your computer. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default, but if you'd prefer, you can set your browser to alert you when cookies are being sent or refuse them completely. Be aware, however, that refusing cookies may negatively impact your experience on our website.

Website analytics

Sticker Shock Summer uses two analytics providers to understand how visitors use the site, measure the popularity of content, and improve the experience over time:

You are encouraged to review each provider's privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Site.

You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. Any questions you have can be directed to [email protected].

High prices are policy choices.

They are not inevitable. We can reverse the damage.

Trump administration tariffs, energy rollbacks, LNG export policy, and unauthorized war risks are making summer more expensive. Call your members of Congress and tell them to back the bills that lower costs.

Say this

“I'm a constituent. High prices are not inevitable, they're the result of policy choices. Please support the Trade Review Act, the Energy Bills Relief Act, the Lowering American Energy Costs Act, and a new War Powers vote to stop unauthorized hostilities with Iran.”
